THANK YOU! i love the hat & can’t wait to make it.
What a beautiful pattern! I just can’t wait to make it! And I love that it is versatile enough that I can make matching hats for me and my husband (shh, don’t tell him!) Thank you so much for sharing your work with us!
Thanks for the pattern!
Thank you! Great hat.
Thank yoy for a beautiful pattern.A friend knit this hat for a little girl -pink ond with pearls.
Thanks for the pattern!
I made the hat – in blue – for my husband and he as loved.
I used cotton yarn, needles 2,5mm and 3mm, and I changed the number of points and the size of the bar, but the hat is beautiful as yours.
Congratulations, is a great idea!
I love this hat. It is gorgeous, thank you for sharing the pattern. I’ve also shared the pattern with the other ladies at our knitnite, they also love it!
I am a new knitter but your instructions are so clear that I bought more yarn to do it again (it takes me forever but so worth it).
Will you be posting the instructions for a matching scarf? I think the combo would be quite lovely.
BTW: found you on Ravelry.
It looked sooo pretty and I thought it would be a perfect project for white elephant gift exchange, since I already had leftover yarn…But now it’s done and i dont’ wanna give it away!!! =P
Today is my first day on Ravelry and in my first 15 minutes of perusing the site, I found your beautiful hat! I love hats and am going to start knitting this one today! I’m so excited to have been told about this site! Thank you.
Great Hat! Verry nice Pattern, thanks a lot!
I can’t read the pdf, it’s only a white site….
Please help me!
Regards and Happy Birthday,
Great pattern. Thank you for sharing :-)
Thanks for sharing your pattern!
is this pattern beginner enough for an advanced beginner? It’s a very pretty hat. Thanks for having lots of great free patterns! :D
I love the pattern, and can’t wait to cast on for one! If I use a different gauge of yarn or want to make it smaller for a kid, would I reduce the number of cast-on stitches by a multiple of 6? I assume so, since the “body” of the hat is divided into 6 sections, but I want to make sure I’m not having a blonde moment! :-)
Hi, I am attempting to knit the Claudia hat pattern. Can you please explain how I decrease to 90 sts from the 120 that are originally cast on. Plus do you have a chart of the trellis pattern that you designed?
I have found it easier to cross the stitches than to load one stitch onto a cable needle, less slippery.
Hi there! Thanks for sharing the pattern! it is a beutiful hat! .. I am just getting a little confuse after dividing up into the 6 sections. You say that we need to keep in mind that all purls will be purled and knit stitches will be knit..but when the first row for decreasing starts we need to K2tog. It mens we need to knit stitch a purl, right? because we have (P2,K1tbl) .. we dont have two knit stitches together..
My decreases k2 tog don’t seem as smooth as yours. Did you just knit 2 together or did you do it another way?
Hello, I’m inspired by your Claudia hat and thinking about casting on, but my yarn and gauge are different. What is the pattern repeat? I don’t see a mention to it, of course I probably missed it. Very excited to get one started.
