What a beautiful pattern! I just can’t wait to make it! And I love that it is versatile enough that I can make matching hats for me and my husband (shh, don’t tell him!) Thank you so much for sharing your work with us!
Thanks for the pattern!
I made the hat – in blue – for my husband and he as loved.
I used cotton yarn, needles 2,5mm and 3mm, and I changed the number of points and the size of the bar, but the hat is beautiful as yours.
Congratulations, is a great idea!
I love this hat. It is gorgeous, thank you for sharing the pattern. I’ve also shared the pattern with the other ladies at our knitnite, they also love it!
I am a new knitter but your instructions are so clear that I bought more yarn to do it again (it takes me forever but so worth it).
Will you be posting the instructions for a matching scarf? I think the combo would be quite lovely.
It looked sooo pretty and I thought it would be a perfect project for white elephant gift exchange, since I already had leftover yarn…But now it’s done and i dont’ wanna give it away!!! =P
Today is my first day on Ravelry and in my first 15 minutes of perusing the site, I found your beautiful hat! I love hats and am going to start knitting this one today! I’m so excited to have been told about this site! Thank you.
I love the pattern, and can’t wait to cast on for one! If I use a different gauge of yarn or want to make it smaller for a kid, would I reduce the number of cast-on stitches by a multiple of 6? I assume so, since the “body” of the hat is divided into 6 sections, but I want to make sure I’m not having a blonde moment!
